The Caseworker provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants to support a positive resettlement experience and the achievement of client self-sufficiency. The Caseworker works closely with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop service and/or self-sufficiency plans to meet individual client needs and preferences utilizing a broad range of financial, medical, social, vocational, and other services and resources in accordance with client eligibility and program requirements.

Job Overview: The Intensive Case Management (ICM) Health Caseworker will address barriers to health and wellness for especially vulnerable clients. The ICM Health Caseworker will be expected to provide strengths-based, client-centered case management, regarding client’s identified health concerns, to single-headed refugee households; survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence; older refugees; youth and young adults without parents or permanent guardians; refugees experiencing mental health or psychological difficulties; refugees with physical disabilities or medical conditions; unanticipated refugee arrivals and secondary migrants; and refugees who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer (LGBTQ). They work closely with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop service plans to meet individual client healthcare needs and improve access to healthcare and resources in accordance with client eligibility and program requirements.

Learning Advisor, USAID Advancing Digital Democracy (ADD)

Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University

Under the supervision of the Director of Strategic Information, the Associate Research Scientist (Senior Technical Advisor-Strategic Information) will provide technical assistance to ICAP country teams and Ministries of Health on enhancing the quality of and building capacity in surveillance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), informatics and operations research with a focus on building sustainable systems. Talent Acquisition Associate

Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, international affairs, business administration or related field.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in International Development, USAID, or State Department projects.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking System required, (ICIMS familiarity preferred).
  • Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous recruitments and managing the entire recruitment cycle.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is required, fluency in another language (Spanish, Arabic or French) is preferred.
